Water sensitive paper has the advantage that it is very easy to handle (but watch out for moisture) and store (used and unused) which make it an ideal tool for documentation. It can be assessed straight after the application and like clay, it is excellent to be incorporated into the work flow of the set-up.

It provides only a small snapshot of the canopy target and great care needs to be taken to produce a representative standard when placing the papers into the canopy. As a rule of thumb, if three out of ten papers show inadequate coverage the set-up needs improvement.

The SNAPCARD APP allows the cards to be photographed and coverage to be measured.
